I absolutely adore the guys of Bedovelo, starting their own (work)shop building fixed gear bikes, near Bern, Switzerland. They now launched their new bike, Bedovelo Twin Fixed. The name Twin Fixed refers to the two speed gear system. Switching gears is done by pushing a rod in the bottom bracket. Pretty tricky on a fixed gear bike I would say, but apparently it works and I must admit, it’s a lot more innovative than the Sturmey twin speed hub. The price is a little high though, starting at approximately €2000, but absolutely worth it, supporting those guys.
