Actually, the clip above is showing the retweets about the earthquake in Japan earlier this year. But it also show which parts of the world are connected to the internet (assuming that the percentage of Twitter users around the globe is roughly equal). It’s incredible that the whole continent of Africa is a blank spot on the map. Hopefully, Africa’s citizens will be connected to the internet soon, hence it’ll boost the level of education.
